Energy Efficiency Register for Data Centers
The Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG) requires data center operators with a non-redundant rated connection capacity of 500 kilowatts or more to register with the BAFA (Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control) Energy Efficiency Register for Data Centers starting in 2024, and those with a capacity of 300 kW or more starting in 2025.
