Facade/roof greening

The greening of facades and roofs serves to absorb CO₂, but it also has other benefits:

It acts as a natural cooling system, reducing the ambient temperature in summer and preventing the building from overheating. Planting enhances the building fabric, absorbs noise and acts as a natural air purification system.

In addition, collected rainwater can be used for irrigation to reduce fresh water consumption.

Construction materials

The construction industry is the highest CO₂ emitting industry sector in the world. The use of sustainable building materials and recycling are important factors in reducing the environmental impact of buildings. We therefore ensure that we select materials that are as pure as possible and that they are highly recycable.

With BIM, all building materials used can be listed in the building passport. This makes it easier to reuse the materials when the building is deconstructed. In our projects, we use materials that can be returned to the material cycle and recycled or CO₂-reduced concrete wherever possible.

Water management

In addition to high energy consumption, data centers also consume a lot of water, e. g. when water is used for cooling purposes. We are able to offer alternative cooling options that are sustainable and do not consume water. However, the legal efficiency requirements must be taken into account.

We are committed to economical water use and smart water management:
We collect rainwater underground, which can be used to irrigate the facade greenery. Sealing the outdoor areas as little as possible and using permeable grass pavers allow the water to drain well into the ground.
