DC Metro @ European Resilience Summit

23th of September | Hilton Hotel Berlin
Events | 23.09.2026

Meet us at the dc metro event as part of the European Resilience Summit in Berlin

Digital independence does not come about through declarations of intent, but through decisive joint action. The European Resilience Summit in Berlin sets the strategic framework for building a secure, sovereign, and cooperative digital infrastructure in Europe. We look forward to actively shaping this important launch.

As a meeting place for representatives from politics, business, and civil society, the one-and-a-half-day summit brings together leading minds to turn Europe's digital resilience from vision into reality. The focus is on trustworthy digital ecosystems, European cooperation, and sustainable solutions at the pan-European level.

Berlin combines innovative strength, political influence, and cross-sector cooperation like no other city. Whether artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructures, or cybersecurity—Berlin's ecosystem offers ideal conditions for setting the agenda for Europe's resilience and initiating concrete measures.

The summit focuses not only on dialogue, but also on active cooperation. Topics such as trustworthy data exchange, public-private partnerships, and European technology platforms will be further developed together. This is precisely where we, as the Data Center Group, see our role: as bridge builders between regulatory requirements, technical implementation, and sustainable operation of critical digital infrastructures.
Data centers are a central building block of digital sovereignty. They ensure data availability, resilience, and control within Europe. As an experienced partner for the Data Center design and engineering, construction, and operation of highly available and sustainable data centers, we bring practical expertise to the summit. Our added value lies in translating strategic goals into feasible, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions.

We look forward to personal exchanges, new partnerships, and taking joint responsibility for Europe's digital future.

As a special highlight, Dirk Doormann (Head of Strategic Sales and Business Development) will participate in a panel discussion titled:

“The data center in my backyard: How to build a dc everyone wants next door”

The panel will discuss how data centers can be planned and operated so that they integrate as seamlessly as possible into their local environment and the local community. The discussion will be hosted by Anna Lührmann, a member of the German Bundestag.

When: 4:10–4:45 p.m.
