Christmann & Pfeifer Construction GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized construction service provider for industrial construction and implements projects of all kinds: from turnkey office and administration buildings to steel halls, bridge structures and parking garages.
Headquartered in Angelburg near Marburg in the German state of Hesse, the company employs around 250 people and is also represented at several locations throughout Germany with its own steel construction facilities and sales offices. The annual turnover is 80-100 million euros.
The decision was made in favour of DCG due to the best price-performance ratio and the convincing product portfolio. The space-saving 2-door concept of the Micro Data Center "DC IT Safe" was the right product for the company's requirements. The positive experiences from previous cooperation and the smooth sales process with Florian Hammer (Area Sales Manager West/Centre) as well as the project management also convinced the customer in the decision-making process.
The reliability of the IT infrastructure is of crucial importance to Christmann & Pfeifer. A failure would lead to production stoppages and employees being unable to work, which could result in considerable economic losses.
To enable the company to concentrate fully on its core business, DCG is taking over the complete data center package, including a maintenance and service contract for the next few years.
The results are impressive: Increased reliability, simpler maintenance management and more flexible updates resulting from the data center ensure security and clarity.
