As general contractor, the Data Center Group built modular DC IT Room Quartzite high-security rooms F90+ and technical rooms F90 including TÜV certification Level 3 at DU-IT GmbH. The total area of the data center including technical areas in the extension is approx. 750 m².
DU-IT Gesellschaft (a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Duisburg) für Informationstechnologie Duisburg GmbH, with 180 employees, is Duisburg's leading provider of IT services. Customers receive comprehensive consulting services from DU-IT as well as experience and know-how in the areas of system integration and outsourcing.
Stadtwerke Duisburg provided DU-IT with an existing hall, which was completely gutted on site in order to plan and build a new main data center there. The total area of the data center including technical areas in the expansion of the Data Center Group turnkey service is about 750 m² in the total measure.
The data center has the following key data, under the certification basis TÜV Level 3:

Modular high security rooms DC IT Room Quartzite F90+ and technical rooms F90
Security concept Level 3 with EMA, ZK, video and a separation system RZ area
Three transformer stations with 630 kVA each (N+1)
Emergency power buffered for the entire plant via a mains backup system with 1,500 kW capacity
Air-conditioning center in modular design in outdoor container in N+1 air-conditioning concept
Fire protection with a fire alarm and multi-zone extinguishing system for data center area and technical rooms as well as early fire detection systems
UPS A & B with 100 % redundancy
TÜV certified level 3 in connection with direct acceptance of the complete data center
Also as a counterpart our newly developed DCM Agent Delivery Enterprise Monitoring was installed in this data center. This sophisticated monitoring system immediately sends all faults in the data center (climate, UPS, server, etc.) as an alarm to data center operators or to a network operation center.
