Last Friday, the Data Center Group (DCG) opened the new business year with its kick-off - a kick-off that offered a look back, insights and prospects for the entire company. Founder and CEO Ralf Siefen welcomed the team to the production hall at the headquarters in Wallmenroth and gave a successful review of the past year. He particularly emphasized the record turnover achieved, which underlines DCG's strong market position. Siefen paid praise to the dedicated work of all employees and also took the traditional opportunity to honor employees who have been contributing to the company's success for 10 or even 15 years. Finally, he gave an optimistic outlook for the year of DCG's 20th anniversary, which will be marked by many great new projects in addition to a great celebration.
The strategic direction and sustainable growth of DCG were further emphasized by the following speakers. Dr. Ferdinand Höfer, Managing Director of shareholder MVV Enamic GmbH, praised the partnership-based cooperation and confirmed the confidence in DCG's forward-looking course. Philipp Riemen, CFO of DCG, explained the financial basis of this success and emphasized the positive personnel development: DCG achieved a record number of new hires in the past business year and continues to specifically promote trainees, who are an important asset for the future of the company right from the start.
CTO Markus Böhmer offered an insight into DCG's innovative projects and the plans to expand the locations in Frankfurt and Cologne, which will strengthen the company's presence in strategic regions. Head of Sales Michél Düring showed how DCG's presence is being strengthened through partnerships at home and abroad as well as participation in relevant trade fairs, which benefits the company's growth strategy.
Finally, Sonja Philipp, Head of Marketing and Communication, and Fabian Buda, Head of Business Development, highlighted the expanded market access through targeted marketing measures and active membership in industry associations that position DCG as an opinion leader.
With a motivating summary, Ralf Siefen thanked all employees for their contributions and reaffirmed DCG's promising course. The official part of the event was followed by a relaxed get-together with cold drinks and soup to celebrate the successful start to the new business year.
