The German Datacenter Conference will return in 2026—and the Data Center Group will be there as a Bronze Partner. Since its debut in 2022, GDACon has been providing important impetus for digital infrastructure in Germany. In 2026, the conference will once again bring together leading experts from the data center industry, business, politics, and government to discuss key future issues related to technology, energy, and digital sovereignty.
Under the theme “Digital Infrastructure of the Future: Technology. Energy. Sovereignty,” GDACon26 will focus on key topics related to digital infrastructure. These include efficient and interconnected technical equipment, cooling technology, building services engineering, telecommunications, automation, supply and reuse, grid expansion, procurement strategies, security of supply, waste heat utilization, heat planning, and political and regulatory frameworks.
As specialists in the planning, implementation, and operation of highly available data center infrastructures, we look forward to engaging in professional dialogue with the industry and contributing our perspective to the discussion.
A special highlight: Dirk Doormann, our Head of Strategic Sales and Business Development, will participate in a panel discussion on the topic “New Requirements for Data Centers: Balancing Scalability, Efficiency, and Flexibility.”
The discussion will focus on the question: How must data centers be planned today to ensure they can meet future requirements?
The panel will explore how data centers must evolve in light of growing performance demands, increasing sustainability goals, and dynamic market conditions. The discussion will cover practical approaches for scalable, efficient, and flexible infrastructures – from strategic planning and technical concepts to long-term operational reliability.
