The Lower Austrian Culture Group (NÖKU), the superior body of more than 30 artistic and scientific institutions of the province of Lower Austria, relies on the compact data center solution of the Data Center Group. In the protected basement of the central, largest as well as most modern provincial museum of Austria in St. Pölten, a new data center area in the form of a DC IT Safe solution with high technical equipment was installed. This new arrangement meets the requirements in terms of fire protection, intrusion protection and secure operation of the central IT according to the latest state of the art. Sensitive data from research and science as well as administration of the cultural sites nationwide now find their safe place in this regulated environment.
After the intensive and internal pre-planning phase, the operator is pleased with the rapid and smooth implementation of the overall arrangement. Data Center Products was allowed to be active already in the run-up in the form of a planning order with the evaluation of the requirements of the operator as well as advisory to the technical requirement with location selection.
