Basic protection for small IT workloads
The DC IT Secure Rack is a compact, preconfigured all-in-one rack solution designed for the reliable operation of sensitive IT systems. It combines power supply, monitoring, decentralized data processing, and optional data erasure technology in a closed, physically protected system and is ideal for edge IT, industrial environments, equipment rooms, and decentralized data center applications.
Thanks to its IP54 protection rating, the DC IT Secure Rack offers reliable protection against dust and splashing water. The enclosed design, with a clear separation between the cold and hot zones, ensures clean airflow within the rack – while maintaining a compact footprint. The rack itself is not fire-resistant, but it relies on professional early fire detection and optional fire suppression technology inside.

Features and options
The DC IT Secure Rack is delivered ready for installation, tested, and operational. Thanks to its integrated base design, the system can be easily and safely transported by forklift and positioned at the installation site. This reduces on-site installation work to a minimum and ensures quick commissioning.
The power supply for the DC IT Secure Rack is designed to flexibly accommodate a variety of requirements. Depending on availability needs, standardized single-path or dual-path power supply configurations are available. Optional integrated UPS systems provide emergency power and ensure IT operations continue during brief power outages.
By default, the DC IT Secure Rack features a passive cooling solution with speed-controlled fans and integrated air filters. For higher availability, the system can also be configured with redundancy. The solution is suitable for heat loads of up to 1.6 kW. For higher performance requirements, active cooling solutions are available as an option.
To ensure reliable protection of the IT infrastructure, the DC IT Secure Rack can be equipped with the DC IT Firestop. This autonomous fire detection and suppression system detects smoke and rising temperatures at an early stage and automatically initiates the suppression process in the event of a fire. The residue-free FK-5-1-12 extinguishing agent reliably protects IT hardware without causing damage or leaving behind any residue. Thanks to its compact design, the system integrates seamlessly into 19-inch IT environments.
The DC IT Monitoring Agent continuously records and monitors all relevant operational and environmental parameters. Temperature, humidity, water ingress, smoke, access, and power supply are evaluated centrally. If thresholds are exceeded, the system automatically notifies the appropriate staff and provides all relevant information via standardized interfaces to higher-level management systems.
