Digital transformation presents new demands on performance, security, and sustainability of digital infrastructure. Data centers are the backbone of a future-proof public service – from digital administration and educational clouds to smart city concepts.

On November 26, 2025, the data center community will meet in Berlin at the event 'Be Our Guest: Data Center – Regulation, Space, Computing Power.' Representatives from business, administration, politics, and IT will discuss the future of data centers in Germany and Europe.

Central questions include:

• What role do data centers play as a positive locational factor for regions?

• How can digitalization and sustainable infrastructure be thought together?

• What requirements does the public sector impose?

• And what opportunities do new technologies, regulatory frameworks, and cooperation models open up?

Fabian Buda, Head of Business Development at the Data Center Group, will be part of the discussion panel starting at 5:40 PM:
