Donation project with FLY & HELP

For our 20th anniversary in May, we wanted not only to celebrate, but also to make a difference. Together with the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP, we are therefore committed to improving educational opportunities in developing countries.

Our goal was clearly defined: almost 50,000 euros for the expansion of the Likunda Primary School – Kidzangoni Branch in Kenya.

The donations will create three new classrooms and an additional office space – providing learning spaces for up to 600 children in one of the poorest regions south of Mombasa.

Why a school in Kidzangoni?

Kidzangoni is located in an economically disadvantaged region near Ukunda. Many children there have limited access to quality education. The existing Likunda Primary School already offers modern learning concepts and has achieved impressive results – but its capacity is stretched to its limits.

The expansion will provide urgently needed space and offer hundreds of children a real chance for a better future.

Thanks to the generous support of our staff, partners, and many other donors, the required donation amount has already been reached.

Our motivation: The children of Kidzangoni

The children are at the heart of our commitment. The pictures from everyday school life show how much joy, energy, and eagerness to learn they possess. A safe and well-equipped learning environment makes a crucial difference in their lives – today and for their future.

Construction has begun

We are pleased to share the first progress directly from Kenya:

• The foundation trenches have been excavated
• The foundations have been fully constructed
• The base slab is being prepared
• All work is being carried out carefully by hand by local teams

Some images already show a visualization of the finished building – three new classrooms and an office that will soon offer many children a better learning environment.
