DCG on a growth path
Data Center Group (DCG) has expanded its presence in the greater Cologne area and officially opened a new office in the western part of the city. The move reflects the company’s continued growth and increasing demand for additional planning capacity.
DCG first established a presence in the region in September 2024 with an office in Hürth near Cologne. The initial premises - featuring two permanent workstations, additional flexible desks, and meeting space for client appointments - provided a successful starting point. However, as the company continued to grow, the space quickly reached its limits. The Cologne-area team has since grown to four employees, with plans to double the local workforce in the future.
The new office is located in a modern business park near the Cologne-West interchange, offering excellent transport connections and an attractive urban working environment. DCG moved into the premises in November 2025, with the official opening celebrated on March 13 during a small reception.

Our new office provides the capacity we need to support projects in the region even more closely while continuing to expand our planning expertise,” said Stefan Meuser, Head of the Cologne Office and Head of Planning at Data Center Group.
In addition to proximity to customers and projects, attracting new talent was a key factor in choosing the location. “Being based in Cologne gives us excellent opportunities to attract highly qualified professionals, especially in the planning sector, and retain them for the long term. Our growth depends on strong teams, and this new office creates the right environment to support that,” said Markus Böhmer, CTO of Data Center Group.
With the new Cologne office, Data Center Group continues its expansion strategy while strengthening its presence in one of Germany’s most economically dynamic regions.
