The DC IT Safe offers certified burglary protection in accordance with EN 1627/EN 1630 with RC2 classification, effectively protecting your IT infrastructure against attempted break-ins, theft and vandalism. The robust construction of the safe, combined with solid swivel bolts and a self-locking automatic multi-point locking system, ensures maximum security.

In addition, optional access control systems such as PIN keypad locks, code card fittings or 2-factor authentication (e.g. in combination with motorized locks) can be integrated. These technologies not only enable seamless control over access to your safe, but also allow it to be adapted to individual security requirements.

Flexible and reliable solutions are available for the power supply of your DC IT Safe, which can be individually adapted to your requirements. The most important options include:

  • A/B supply: A redundant power supply via separate power paths maximizes the reliability of your IT infrastructure.
  • Emergency power supply systems (EPS): These systems secure the power supply even in the event of a power failure and enable the uninterrupted operation of your IT systems.
  • UPS systems (uninterruptible power supply): Both internal and external UPS systems are available in various performance classes. These not only ensure the stability of the power supply, but also provide a buffer solution in the event of power fluctuations or short-term outages.

You can also expand your power supply with intelligent power strips (PDU strips) that support measurement and switching functions. These enable precise monitoring and control of the energy consumption of your IT components.

The DC IT Safe uses state-of-the-art, energy-efficient cooling systems that have been specially developed for continuous operation in demanding environments. Various cooling technologies are available to choose from:

  • Sidecooler DX: Precision air conditioning with Direct Expansion, based on energy-efficient inverter technology.
  • Sidecooler CW: Water-based air conditioning systems for efficient cooling.
  • CW Free Cooling: Systems with indirect or direct free cooling that further reduce energy consumption.

The units operate in redundant mode: two indoor and two outdoor units are available, which run in a supporting alternating or backup mode. In the event of a failure, a redundant device automatically takes over. The systems are designed for 24/7 industrial operation and use modern refrigerants such as R410A, optionally R32 or natural refrigerants.

The DC IT Safe offers a comprehensive and certified fire protection concept that meets the highest safety standards:

  • Early fire detection: 19" sensors detect fire hazards at an early stage and control preventive measures.
  • Rack extinguishing system: Specially developed extinguishing systems ensure immediate protection of the IT infrastructure directly in the rack.
  • Certified protection in accordance with EI 90: The systems comply with strict limit values in accordance with EN 1047-2 for at least 40 minutes (e.g. temperature increase max. 50 K, relative humidity ≤ 85 %).
  • Flue gas tightness: In accordance with EN 1634-3, the system also protects against flue gas ingress.

An optionally usable penetration seal system, consisting of soft penetration seals, hard penetration seals or fire protection sleeves, provides additional safety for cable entry. This robust combination offers comprehensive protection against fire and smoke and ensures compliance with the latest standards and safety requirements.
