The Westfleisch group, one of the leading meat marketers in Europe, concluded a framework agreement with the proRZ in 2014. This is responsible for the turnkey general contractor delivery from eight different locations in the Münsterland and East Westphalia area with standardized, modular IT outdoor containers "F90" with separate technical areas. These modular IT F-90 outdoor solutions offer a high-quality and location-independent alternative to the indoor solution for IT outsourcing outdoors on empty green spaces.
The IT F-90 outdoor container, each with a usable area of 20 m² (16 m² IT and 4 m² separately secured technical area) is customer-specific and location-independent designed for the installation of up to eight rack systems and with a 100% redundant air conditioning capacity of approx. 15 kW as an in-row cooling system with a hot aisle concept. In addition, the container is customer-specific and equipped as standard with a UPS system concept as well as an A + B supply (100% redundancy), fire alarm / extinguishing system and monitoring system DCM Alarm (product of Data Center Products).
The IT outdoor containers, standardized individually at the customer's request, thus offer optimal security protection for the IT of the Westfleisch group - at the same level at all locations. In order to ensure the optimal IT technology operation, Data Center Services, one of the business areas of the Data Center Group, was entrusted with the maintenance and service of all IT locations for several years. The Data Center Group thus provides all-round security protection.
